Dawn, We met in Rockland Maine and then again when my wife and I drove to Montreal to see you again for my birthday. You probably don't remember, but I'll never forget. You were so gracious with your time and signed my CD and we whispered for awhile. Since there was a problem with your CD's coming to the North Atlantic Blues Festival, I bought several and have made sure that all my American blues brothers and sisters are big DTW fans. You are still my favorite NABF performance to date and I've seen almost all of them.

Nous sommes encore sous le charme du spectacle donné en première partie d'Allan Holdsworth au Palais Montcalm samedi 26 septembre 2009. Quelle surprise! Nous venons de découvrir un duo vraiment attachant. Et que dire de la voix magnifique de Dawn et les nombreuses interventions tout au long du spectacle avec l'auditoire. Ce spectacle restera longtemps gravé dans notre mémoire. Nous avons acheté le CD Duo afin que la magie demeure encore et encore. Félicitations à Dawn qui a interprété magistralement du Brel avec toute l'intensité dont elle est capable. Bravo aussi à Paul qui excelle sur sa 6 cordes! Chapeau pour votre belle complicité! On le ressentait dans la salle.

i don't usually write to people i don't know, but i did want to tell you that i was blown away by your show at the elgar centre.

it was difficult to know where to put my attention when the calibre of musicianship was so high! i thoroughly enjoyed the parcours from led zepplin to stevie ray vaughan to paul simon to dawn tyler watson to paul deslauriers and all points in between. i also really enjoyed the feeling that was emanating from the stage. but really, it is one thing to be able to sing/play a solid barrelhouse blues, another to burn out a solo that stevie ray wished he had played, still another to scat and play air trombone--but to do it all between just two people--wow.

i left feeling very full, as if i had eaten a really, really good meal. thanks for feeding me (and my three guests). i wish you all the best and look forward to corrupting another bunch of friends in the near future. i'll be checking your sites for future gigs!

J’ai eu le plaisir d’assister au show de samedi 15 novembre 2008 à Châteauguay. Paul, ta guitare sonne tellement large ! Et Dawn a cette voix et présences magnifiques. C’est un des plus beaux duos que j’ai vu et entendu. Complicité entre vous deux et avec le public; harmonies de voix parfaites; justesse dans les voix et la guitare; performance d’une qualité exceptionnelle. Hi! Just saw you this morning at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival - you both were AMAZING!! I am sorry I did not hear you earlier in the weekend and only heard you perform two songs (both of which were incredible - the first made me cry and the second you sang with Paul was amazing - is it recorded anywhere?) I am sorry the Sojourners took up so much time on the stage (they were good but it would have been nice if they shared the stage more). Any chance you will be playing in Vancouver again?

Blues Camp was definitely a highlight for my music year. Thank you for sharing music and supporting the students in such a generous way. im 72 yrs old, and i have been to lots of concerts and to montreal house of jazz, but had never seen paul. im still not back on earth after his concert in terrebonne firday feb.22 which was my birthday and i took advantage of it to get a hugg from him, he has to be the most man who lives in his moment on stage and sends you to cloud 9, was the best gift i ever had, either you have it or you dont the feel of music, my dad thought me that. ty ty ty paul, and guy belanger was great also. i hope to see you again soon. will probaby hugg you again, haha, have a great day.

Ce fut un immense honneur, un grand bonheur et un plaisir incommensurable de vous voir ce samedi 5 octobre 2007 à la Maison de Culture de Montmorency pour le festival Blues en VO. Un moment magique (toujours trop court il faut l'avouer) et merveilleux. Comme beaucoup, je suis tombé sous le charme d'une voix extraordinaire, d'une artiste magnifique au sourire d'ange, talentueuse, généreuse et d'une immense gentillesse. "Take it outside" et " Hey Hey " résonnent encore dans ma tête et je me surprend à les fredonner sans cesse. Merci à vos extraordinaires musiciens, je pense à Monsieur Deslauriers, guitariste magique et fantastique. Merci pour vôtre dédicace que j'ai, si timidement, eu du mal à vous demander. :) Trop impréssionné pour oser vous approcher. Grâce à vous j'ai découvert un univers musicale que je n'ai jamais ecouté auparavant et c'est un révélation. Je suis reparti le coeur léger et le sourrire aux lèvres malgré la fatigue. Je vous ai vu au festival d'été de québec cet été et je suis tomber sous le charme.J'ai tout de suite acheter votre album. Dawn tu as une voix...j'adore ton interpretation tres personnelle des chansons et tu as une voix si juste et pleine de subtilité, j'adore t écouter. Dawn & Paul .. caught your spot with Shelagh on SLC today .. excellent! I haven't heard Barrlehouse by Bruce since I switched to CD's (still have the vinyl though). Great song .. two close friends used to sing it beautifully in the 70's when we lived on the Queen Charlottes (Haida Gwaii) and once performed it in a warm-up set for Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee in Queen Charlotte City. (Sonny was impressed.) Your version was amazing. I'm now definitely looking for a copy of En Duo. Thank you, Dan
