hi, I met you at the Cognac Blues Festival. You were the highlight of the week for me. Your jam session with the jazz band was superb. Everyone back here in Scotland I've played your music to has loved it. Keep playing and I hope you get over to the Scotland, or somewhere else in the UK someday.

Moi, petit pianiste de boogie-woogie amateur, j'ai eu le plaisir infime de vous accompagner quelques minutes lors d'une garden party privée, chez des amis près de COGNAC, le 26 juillet dernier, pendant le festival Blues Passions. Quel souvenir inoubliable pour moi ! Vos 4 concerts publics étaient vraiment chaleureux et intenses.

Hi! Just saw you this morning at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival - you both were AMAZING!! I am sorry I did not hear you earlier in the weekend and only heard you perform two songs (both of which were incredible - the first made me cry and the second you sang with Paul was amazing - is it recorded anywhere?) I am sorry the Sojourners took up so much time on the stage (they were good but it would have been nice if they shared the stage more). Any chance you will be playing in Vancouver again?

Je suis devenue une fan, depuis la première fois que je vous ai vu au Festival de Blues de Tremblant. Et depuis ce temps à chaque fois que vous passé dans les Laurentides je suis là pour vous voir. Houppi vous serez encore là cette année.
Votre album en duo est fantastique, et celui de Dawn (ten dollar dress) est super aussi. A bientôt.

Blues Camp was definitely a highlight for my music year. Thank you for sharing music and supporting the students in such a generous way. Performing my own song was the most cathartic experience, and singing in the impromptu choir was a good warm up....you two make stage work look easy ;> Thank you doesn't seem to be enough. Merci.

I was so impressed by your performance with Paul at the Blues Odyssey show Sat.,May 10 in Duncan on Vancouver Island. It was the premier performance of the night. Totally awestruck, I will be searching you out from now on. You & Paul make unbelievable music together.

im 72 yrs old, and i have been to lots of concerts and to montreal house of jazz, but had never seen paul. im still not back on earth after his concert in terrebonne firday feb.22 which was my birthday and i took advantage of it to get a hugg from him, he has to be the most man who lives in his moment on stage and sends you to cloud 9, was the best gift i ever had, either you have it or you dont the feel of music, my dad thought me that. ty ty ty paul, and guy belanger was great also. i hope to see you again soon. will probaby hugg you again, haha, have a great day.

Merci de votre venue au Gentilly en Blues ! Vendredi c'était génial en accoustique et que dire du samedi avec Pat The White et Ricky Paquette, vous avez cassé la barraque. Revenez encore et encore, nous avons développé une petite dépendance à Paul Deslauriers qui sait si bien s'entourer !

Je vous ai dévouvert à Belle et Bum pour la première fois et j'ai été impressionné. La pièce "Come Together" a été tellement bien interprètée que j'ai le goût de me procurer votre album. Comme je joue de la guitare, j'avoue que Paul tu es maintenant devenu mon idole.

Ce fut un immense honneur, un grand bonheur et un plaisir incommensurable de vous voir ce samedi 5 octobre 2007 à la Maison de Culture de Montmorency pour le festival Blues en VO. Un moment magique (toujours trop court il faut l'avouer) et merveilleux. Comme beaucoup, je suis tombé sous le charme d'une voix extraordinaire, d'une artiste magnifique au sourire d'ange, talentueuse, généreuse et d'une immense gentillesse. "Take it outside" et " Hey Hey " résonnent encore dans ma tête et je me surprend à les fredonner sans cesse. Merci à vos extraordinaires musiciens, je pense à Monsieur Deslauriers, guitariste magique et fantastique. Merci pour vôtre dédicace que j'ai, si timidement, eu du mal à vous demander. :) Trop impréssionné pour oser vous approcher. Grâce à vous j'ai découvert un univers musicale que je n'ai jamais ecouté auparavant et c'est un révélation. Je suis reparti le coeur léger et le sourrire aux lèvres malgré la fatigue. De beaux souvenirs! Vôtre album est superbe. Merci à vous tous. A bientôt, j'espère..we love you Dawn!

Je vous ai vu au festival d'été de québec cet été et je suis tomber sous le charme.J'ai tout de suite acheter votre album. Dawn tu as une voix...j'adore ton interpretation tres personnelle des chansons et tu as une voix si juste et pleine de subtilité, j'adore t écouter. Et Paul tu es le genre de guitariste que toute les chanteuses aimerais avoir! tu es tres versatile et tu as beaucoup de feeling. Vos 2 voix ensemble sont en parfaite symbiose. Je vous adore XXX

Dawn & Paul .. caught your spot with Shelagh on SLC today .. excellent! I haven't heard Barrlehouse by Bruce since I switched to CD's (still have the vinyl though). Great song .. two close friends used to sing it beautifully in the 70's when we lived on the Queen Charlottes (Haida Gwaii) and once performed it in a warm-up set for Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee in Queen Charlotte City. (Sonny was impressed.) Your version was amazing. I'm now definitely looking for a copy of En Duo. Thank you, Dan
